Ok. So Im giving this another go. Heres the deal. The DNT was chatting with Schuler during all the media frenzy and asked her if she would ever apply and it took on a life of its own. Im chalking it up to a lapse in judgement- when you talk to the press- you gotta be cautious. Human beings are just that. Humans. This is an emotionally heated time. We are entitled to mistakes. I made a mistake railing on Schuler in my earlier post, now gone. Thing is, this is what Berlo wants. This pitting of coaches against each other, the student-athletes getting in the mix, more distractions that could get in the way of success. It justifies his actions. He can act like hes interested in Schuler all day long so he comes out looking like he didnt create any damage. And to that, I call: Bulls**t. Dont fee the virus guys. We are, as Im certain Coach Miller would be, about getting the entire staff reinstated and keeping this program on the right track. Could Schuler do the job? Sure she could. But that is not where we are at right now. Let Coach Miller deal with Schuler, after all she was her athlete in the Nagano Olympics. RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW we must stay focused on the fact that the decisions made by the management are questionable and the timing beyond unprofessional. 4 woman coaches just got swiped from the most successful NCAA program in the country to fix Berlos budget problem. This guy is a rookie with no management experience. Watch the unedited video where he says he doesnt have his budget worked out for next year. Yet he fired four coaches to solve his unknown budget?
