Ok. So. Yeah. In a few decades ~30 years, we will have used up all our resources fit for human consumption the more we stratify our economic bases: Haves vs Have Nots. The richer the people are, the more hording and consumption of resources and with a business as usual mentality - this causes civilization collapse. That is what these guys are saying on a theoretical study. Do I believe that from scientific perspective? Its possible. Ive studied a bit of sustainable planet stuff. This is the concept of always paying the piper and were due. *shrugs* Will it get worse that what we feel now? Possibly. Could we collectively change it? Well, how acidic is our oceans these days? ;) Thats the problem... Thats one of the causes of global climate change - ocean acidification due to fossil fuel use and life in it cannot adapt genetically fast enough except like, jellyfish that dont contribute to the ecological delta G cycles. But oh well. Science. From a spiritual POV? The Mandala Wheel already says this will happen. Its a cycle of life. Christians need to understand this and will have to when the bill is owed. Should we be worried? Worried to change it in a positive spiritual manner with peace in that conversation - right comments, compassion. We are missing those items. I see very little compassion but spots. But if we do this more, than fight on BS ideology that doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things, we could make this world a better place. What does it take? LOVE!
