Ok. So heres where we are. As of this morning, she can talk again -- her words are mixed up sometimes, but she can talk. AND she has use of her body again -- arms and legs, can walk, eat, everything. YESTERDAY....her gaze was fixed to the left, her eyes were shaking and unfocused. Her right arm was limp and drawn. Once in a while, she would look at us, but no recognition. PT came in and started moving her. She said WHAT?! We laughed and felt hopeful. But went right back to stroke-like. I left the hospital around 2:00. That was her condition. Today, she is walking and talking. They will do an EEG this afternoon. If this was DKA only, its a very severe episode. They would like to know why. I say shes better because of all of your prayers.
