Ok. So most of you know that my baby second cousin Catie is celebrating ten years remission this year from cancer. Imagine being a parent and you get a call from her doctor saying your 18 month old baby has cancer. Yeah, my beautiful cousin Julie got that call. Since then, I have watched Catie grow into the most beautiful young lady, and shes a survivor people. More brave, and the most amazing grace youve ever witnessed. And since then we have been relentless for a cure. Julie has challenged me to her own version of the ice bucket challenge, with a spin...Aca-tober and Aca-vember to raise money for the Lymphatic Leukemia Society. Warning though...Ive learned through this that Im really not the singer I thought I was, so be forewarned. If Catie can kick cancers ass though, I can humiliate myself for a few minutes to the world. Ill be throwing out nominees...so whod like to step up and just give before I call you out?
