Ok. The latest UN report on climate change is scaring the living daylights out of me. It reads like one of those apocalyptic movies, yow! From the tone of the report and specifics given, shit is about to get real, and will hit the fan as early as 2030! By shit I mean significantly lower yields and harvests, so significantly less food. Seafood will be a rarity by 2030, as fishes are going extinct due to warm waters and ocean acidity. Instead of nice showers of blessings, expect more floodings that come and wash everything away, taking some of us with it, and then the water dries back up so fast WASA wont have time to collect and chlorinate it for the survivors to use. I am dead serious, the thing is talking about death on a massive scale! Stephen King style! If you find yourself poor in 2030, prepare to be cast aside in a class system that will leave an Occupy wall street powerless! People will begin to fight over the basic means for survival (at least the rich will lock away with the best of whats left, and leave us to fight for the scraps)- the 99 % will wage wars among each other- for arable land and water supply! What seemed like a probability is now a certainty unless we drastically cut emissions. I for one am playing my part. #Bikelife. No cars for me, thank you very much.
