Ok, Tracy Gallagher, here goes. I thought I had successfully avoided ever having to do this. I got #6: 1. I literally cannot go to bed each night without having read the entire New York Times. Additionally, I have a specific order in which I read it, beginning with the art section, followed by the obits. 2. My happy place is the ocean, specifically face down in it hanging out with the sea life. There is nothing down there that scares me. I have been amongst penguins, sea lions, dolphins, hammerhead sharks, rays of many kinds, sea turtles and octopi. My dream vacation was the Galapagos Islands in 1999. 3. My life is accompanied by a soundtrack and music is on my mind constantly, from my obsessive love for the Manchester music scene, to my neurotically planning every song played at my wedding (and making the DJ stop playing music by artists that were not invited) to planning my funeral playlist (it wont be sad - but I do want to ensure excellent music. I will designate whether or not songs should be played sequentially or on shuffle) 4. I have had the least circuitous professional life of almost anyone I know- my first job was in an art gallery on Madison Avenue and I then moved on to museums (MoMa, The Jewish Museum and the Guggenheim) and exhibit design. 5. Since I was 7 years old I have grown up with Collies and cant imagine life without them. Our first dog, Mickeys full name was Thane MacDuff of Heathcote (my mother was an English Teacher) and our current dog is Theo van Collie (if my daughter had been a boy, she would have been Theo...) 6. I am so much more a city person than a country (or suburban) person and feel like I breathe and thrive best when surrounded by the vitality of urban life. The two cities I know and love the best, having lived in both are NYC and Madrid. (this was really hard!)
