Ok... Was expecting this at some point,so here is how it is. From horses mouth so to speak! Yes, many left getting their tickets until last minute,despite pleadging their loyalty to the event. But, consider the following.... I do recall thirty years ago people queing on stairs to get in...one out one in system (because it was full!!) Any venue has a limit, that is OUT OF MY CONTROL.... Best I can ever do is FILL it, which I did...first time for over a decade I think. Tickets were being counted and recorded by Floral management every 10 mins. I was told if anyone over 800 turned up they would be refused entry with or without a ticket!! So, how is it fare to refuse entry to someone who could have purchased their tickets up to 3 months prior to event, in favour of someone who left it until event opened?? (Ask yourselves HONESTLY now... if you are complaining this much about not being able to pay on the door...Imagine the outcry if youd bought your ticket then arrived to be told, sorry you cannot come in! Why? Because these over here that left it until the night of event got in first!!!!?? That COULD NOT HAPPEN! Besides, the abuse I got on night and phone all day long... I find it bizzare that the media of Facebook is used to complain when that SAME media was used on numerous occassions notifying everyone that it was SOLD OUT??? Especially if you had to travel to the event, after admitting it was going to be packed out, why not buy an advance ticket like the other 800? If you travelled to airport to go on holiday without buying plane ticket.... Is THAT Easy Jets fault? If plane is full... can they squeeze just 2 or 3 more on?? No... they cannot. Admit you made your choice to take a gamble to get in.... that back fired, But the 800 that got in had a great memorable night... So I can sleep well knowing I done my very best.
