Ok Wastelanders who wants to be part of an T.V. shoot for an Post Apoc T.V. show? the shoot will be this Sunday the 4th in Pasadena. this is volunteer but should be a lot of fun. please message me if you are interested. below is description of what they are looking for. INHABITANTS OF THE CITY OF OSIRIS This a Post Apocalyptic Cult town run by the Aliester Crowley inspired Occultist, Frederick Polk. He keeps his subjects under his influence through a concoction he and his doctors have devised. The inhabitants are routinely checked up on and injected with the serum. Townsfolk are either injected with the substance or fed through the water supply. We are looking for a wide range of individuals for our day. Polk has his upper class entourage, which are composed of Doctors and his trusted advisors. He also has an array of Mercenaries, guards, and military types to keep a firm watch on the grounds. Also, a horde of Outlanders, known as the Black Locusts, reside in the town of Osiris. The Black Locusts are led by CAYM, and they are of the mad max road warrior variety. This, as stated before, is a very eclectic crowd, the melting pot of the Outlands. The Townsfolk are farmer types, post apocalyptic worker bees, who dress in tattered overalls, dresses, tee shirts, button downs, all muted colors, browns, dark greens, earth tones. Everything they own is tattered and worn in. Basically, they dont shower and they dont have another set of cloths, this is all they have! Old slacks, tee shirts, dresses, caps, shoes and boots with holes in them or worn down. All good! The scene we are shooting will include a speech to a large gathering of the town by Frederick Polk, an epic fight scene (Gladiator style) in an arena against the lead, Thomas Archer, and the leader of the Black Locusts CAYM. They crowd will be going crazy as they watch the combatants go at it. High energy! Also we will be showcasing the inner workings of the town, so we will feature certain players in spots for B roll where they will be given specific tasks. Everyone should be prepared to BECOME the person they are portraying and follow their assigned task as a member of the town. Lots will be featured in these scenes! We are looking for four class groups in Osiris and a featured guitar player. 1) DOCTORS : Better groomed, presentable. They have access to Polks water and bath and are kept in good order. Think Nazi Doctor types. Please bring boots and belts as options 2) POLKS ADVISORS : Again, like the doctors, groomed. Think Nazi Generals and advisor types. Please bring boots and belts as options 3) A FEATURED GUITAR PLAYER (30s to 50s): Needs to be homeless looking, beard or scruff, dirty, unkept. Must be able to play guitar and supply an old beaten up but useable guitar. Disheveled attire. 4)BLACK LOCUSTS: Very interesting looks. Tough girls, muscular men, fit but not perfect fit. Big guys, mean girls, edgy looks. Interesting hair, mohawks, shaved head looks, think Mad Max! If You have wasteland weekend gear bring it! 5)TOWNSFOLK: Think old school farmer types that live in a commune. All ages! Families, kids, etc. Eclectic. 1940s tattered vibes. Woman think conservative long period type dresses for some, edgy looks for others. Can be scavengers or looking like they are going to church, but all cloths and options should be older and ok with getting dirtied and/or torn. Earth tones. ALSO LOOKING FOR LITTLE PEOPLE.
