Ok a bit nervous to post this because I think 98% of Christians will disagree w me. I have been taught to be lead by Holy Spirit and pray for discernment weather it is a hollywood movie, preacher, teacher etc. grateful to those that contacted me privately to remind me of that. Here it goes. I loved the movie Noah. I would not recommend watching it to learn the truth I would definitely say read it in the Bible. To me it was more a creation story. A story of temptation sin redemption Gods mercy and love. I identified w Noahs wife so many times. I dont like to see my personal wickedness but I ask myself if my children or grandchild were starving or in some danger what sin would I commit against others to feed them. Would I steal, murder, lie? I dont need to go much farther than that to find my flesh. A powerful theme I saw was the devil was always invited in. He didnt have to work hard. He was welcomed onto the ark by resentment, lack of obediance, and lack of faith. Just like in the original sin he just tweeked Gods words and fed the existing sin. The difference between Noah and the nation of Cain was faith in God. Nation of Cain believed he was God he created life and death Ps. Ham did use the word God in the movie. He said my father said there could be no king the creator is God I will say I love the book of Esther God is not mentioned one time but is in every word. God can make everything good even a movie by an atheist. Im not assuming anyone will read this but if you do please use discernment. Seeing the movie or not is not up to me.
