Ok after what seems to have been a very long process the end is in sight.Over 2 months ago now we found a property for sale on the internet. I went and spoke to the bank about the possibility of a loan and was told that would be ok. I then rang the agent only to be told that somebody had already signed the contract. We were really disappointed as the place would have been ideal for us. anyway the agent had my number and said that if the sale fell through she would contact us. Well to cut a long story short 2 weeks later she contacted us and said that it is ours if we wanted it. Well finally all the legal stuff is done and tomorrow we will have our own bit of paradise. It is 130 acres of natural bushland with several streams and springs, lots of trees , rocks and hills. Looking forward to getting it set up so we can be self sufficient. We will be having a visitors camping area so our friends can come out and visit. I will have plenty of room to set up my radio aerials and we will be able to grow our own food. One of the best things is that its not too far from here and its closer to my work in Dubbo than our house here.
