Ok all the tests r n & dr.s seen! I was seen by both my radiation oncologist, Dr. Koyfman, who I trust more than any of my other dr.s, & the vice chairman & section head of head and neck surgery & oncology, Dr. Burkey. Both looked at my scans, did a scope & also a physical exam. They in no way think that the problems n my head & neck r tumors or cancer related n any way! It is most likely a deep infection thats made it to my jaw bone. I will have 2 b on some very strong antibiotics for like a month & its going to b very painful for a while (imagine an abscess tooth that was left go until it spread from the tooth 2 the jaw and up the face then down the neck! So praise God!! Still no new growth! I come back n 3 weeks & at that time Dr. Burkey wants 2 talk about possibly getting my hearing back n my right ear. He doesnt seem 2 think that I am completely def n it & believes its fixable. Well I gotta go, just wanted 2 touch base with everyone. I will b home this afternoon & will post more when I have time!
