Ok, all, this is where we stand. I received this email from our Solo Racing director, Luis Moreno, this morning: Everyone, Since the City has not given any further notice or their permission regarding the use or rental of Cohen Stadium to SMG (authorized Cohen stadium rental management group), I and they assume that it will not be available for the rest of this year. As the Pan Am Region SCCA Solo Director, I made the judgement call to officially announce that our 2014 Solo Series has come to a end. I will manually attempt to tally up all the points from the results from our website to determine the year-end class finishers. Unless, our timing computer and its administrators can perform this task... I understand that is has some type of virus on it. Hopefully, it can fixed or maybe it has. Ill check into it. Please bear in mind that in order to be eligible for the PAR Solo Year-End Points you must meet the following requirements: (1) Hold a current and valid SCCA Membership (2) Competed in at least six (6) PAR Solo Championship Events (3) An SCCA competitor may count up to ten (10) PAR Solo Championship event results towards their respective year-end points class. If a competitor has more than ten, only the best results of their Top Ten PAR solo event class results will be counted. Stay tuned. Please everyone try your best to find another suitable location in our area in order to hold our solo events for next year. Special thanks to everyone that competed, donated their time & expertise, financially supported our club and helped to make our solo program a huge success!
