Ok all you NFL geeks out there in FB Land, listen up. The 1984 Niners set an NFL record by going 18-1 for the entire year, including post-season and Super Bowl. Hear that, all you Shecocks and Panthers fans out there? That record was tied in 2007 by the Patriots who went 18-1 on the year. The only nitpicky difference is that the 1984 Niners finished 15-1 on the regular season whereas the 2007 Pats went 16-0 on the regular season. But the 1984 Niners won the Super Bowl while the 2007 Pats lost the Super Bowl. So the 1984 Niners were indeed the most super of NFL teams in NFL history. Stuff that up your anal sphincters, Shecocks fans!! And that one loss in 1984 by the Niners occurred on October 14th, the day of my 35th birthday! Hows that for a kick in the nuts?? This years Shecocks are now 11-1. Impressive. They might go to the SB in February. They have to win their playoff game in a few weeks to get to the SB, but even if they do and they go to the SB and they win the SB, the best they can hope for is to tie the Niners and Pats for the NFL record of wins. So the Shecocks will always only be playing catch-up to my Niners!!
