Ok before wood cutting one last thought...Academy Awards. I watch about 30 minutes. Chris asked me who would win and I said Well one movie is about being a slave and the other about AIDS so it is a toss up. I will go with Slaves. The Academy is always first and foremost about politics. First winner is a guy who portrayed a dying AIDS patient and after his 20 minute meaningless blather like speech I was done. My take aways.......Julia Roberts is pregnant.........Jada Pinckett Smith looked awesome.......Sandra Bulloch is gorgeous but the gown was a disaster.....time to dump comedians as Hosts and go back to the days when it was a glamorous affair almost stately........Ellen was bad (It is not a Roast people !!!!) .........Bill Murray looked VERY VERY Old......and who the hell is Sharon Lawrence anyway ??!!! Oh and one more thing.....being actor must not be all that difficult. They are not all that educated......and many of them have spent less time studying their craft them I have spent living in Vermont . I was driving a limo when a casting agent said I had the look she was looking for.....next thing I know I am in a movie starring across from Tom Hanks. yep........there ya go.
