Ok cat-loving friends, I need some help and ideas. :) We discovered that our sweet little Chloe recently ate part of the edge of the dust ruffle on her queen bed (and the corner of a pillow!) so we ended up having to get rid of the bed completely today! (And yes, this is TMI but she did get it all out of her system this time, thankfully!) We installed a nanny cam to keep an eye on her when were not home but the room looks so empty now because shes quickly losing everything in it...between the blanket-eating episode and now this. Im afraid the carpet might be next! Were thinking of putting in hardwood floors in her room and making it a cat-friendly oasis. Has anyone done this for their furbabies before? Any ideas of what we can put in there that would be comforting to her but that she would be unable to eat? It seems like everything in the room is now plastic or its all hard surfaces because she eats everything she can put in her mouth! :( Shes so cute and so sweet and we just want her to feel happy, comfortable and loved but her room looks so empty now. We have lots of plastic toys & Kong toys in there already as well as a scratching post tower but now Im even wondering if she might try to eat that!? Im not really an interior decorator but I like warm, calming spa-like decor but I dont know if we can translate that into a kitty oasis?! Help??
