Ok, everybody. This is what rescue should be about. Its not just rescuing the animals from shelters; yes, thats important but it also means rescuing them from abusive and neglectful situations. What would have happened to the majority of these dogs if taken by a regular shelter? Probably euthanized because most of them would be considered unadoptable. But they deserve a chance. They deserve better than what has been given them in life, even if its just to live out their last days in comfort and peace. Most of these dogs will be adoptable, they need time, patience and understanding As you look at these pictures and these tortured little faces, please decide in your heart if you want this to continue in our county - right in our backyard. If you dont and are angry enough to see the abuse stop, give us a call. Lets marshall our forces and do something about it.
