Ok fb friends....anyone who has a child that will be registering for Pop Warner football or cheerleading here in San Antonio please be warned. There are other leagues that will be better for you and your children. Im sad to say this because I myself am a Pop Warner alum but if you want someplace that actually cares about the kids do not go to Pop Warner. There are at least 3 other leagues in town to choose from. TYFA AND AYF of the top of my head. Please take this advise from a person who was a board member with a Pop Warner team. There is WAY to much drama and politics. I joined for my son and the kids but it seems a lot of others are there for personal gain. They want to either make money for their own business or make a name for themselves. Money and power are all they care about.
