Ok folks, I have been thinking (dangerous, I know). Long ago, couple hundred years ago before we had a government and when most of the people could not read or writer or think about much except surviving the day with food and shelter, the people thought we should have "educated" (those who could read and write) people to represent us and interpret the laws of the land along with "Ministers" (who could read and write ) to interpret the Bible for us. In both cases, these people started out with good morals and wanting to do the right thing for people. Along with this distinction came some power and then more power and then tempations to bend to the will of a select/richer group of people and corruption of Government and Religion began. Now, I propose that we, of this generation, can almost all, read and write and have pretty good thought processes and deducting skills. Is it possible we DO NOT NEED these "Others" to interpret or speak for us??? Especially in the age of the internet and instant communication. Could not all (or most) of the people become aware of the issues each day and make a vote on things ourselves on a daily or 3 times a week basis as a part of our contribution Our Country. ??? Can we revamp our so called government/group of representatives of others, so that the real voices of the all the people be heard? Could "We the People of the United States of America" really work together? Could we really be that dedicated instead of placing blind trust in people who ALL have their own agendas and debts to pay to those with bribe $$$. Is this possible folks? Is germ of an idea ready to be planted in the fertile soil of our minds to really grow into something that all could have input into? Are we mature enough for that???? Many are and some are not, I know. what do you think out there my dear facebook friends.?
