Ok folks, Im going to vent and do some calling out about something that just makes me....well, Ill just say it does NOT make me happy!! Here we go. I cannot help but be angry and appalled by the lack of respect some people have. I could not believe Christian people, during service; the pastors message to be exact, who got up, went and got coffee, or tea, came back sat down and sipped on their drink!! How amazingly RUDE can you be?? The lack of respect for (1) The house of God, (2) the Word of God (3) the man of God who is trying to minister to the saints through his message via the word of God!! This is not the Guthrie people, this is the HOUSE OF GOD!! Can you not wait one hour to have coffee or whatever? Really? THEN STAY HOME!! Have a little respect ok! I need to get up with the Lord so He can minister to MY heart, MY anger, My displeasure....or am I wrong?? Maybe Im old...well, I am, but thats not the point! I mean really, when Jesus ministered to the multitudes, I doubt any of them went for a drink or anything else. The pastor is Gods man, trying to do Gods work and we need to give him due respect. Personally, I think its bad enough that there is an alternate service that is more comfortable and relaxed so if thats what youre looking for just go there. The service is held in the sanctuary. One definition of sanctuary is: in its original meaning, is a sacred place, such as a shrine. Another is: a place where something is protected or given shelter; the protection that is provided by a safe place. So there you have it. Im done....for now!!
