Ok folks, Sgt W here from Upper Crumlin NPT at Tennent Street You will have seen from my earlier post that our ROU detectives did some great work getting an alleged burglar charged to court in Monday I was in early for the parade up at Woodvale. Im pleased to say everything went off peacefully. Then i joined a few of my team to do some extra Christmas Crime patrolling around shops, homes and businesses. We were in Ligoniel were Matt and Jenni helped with a male who had taken ill at the local shop. We were also at the shops and houses on the Upper Crumlin Road where one local lady commented on how young one of my team looked!!! I didnt get the same compliment!!! Then we were down at Ardoyne and in Twaddell before stopping to speak to staff at Tescos at Ballygomartin. I dont have a photo of the shop managers and security managers Xmas jumpers, but they would have been worth some ClubCard points!! It was hectic busy!! We finished off with a patrol around Forthriver, Glencairn, Lyndhurst, Heath Lodge and Westway where the Christmas decorations were pretty amazing
