Ok folks, check out this great article in the Mail about the relentless rise of Chilli in the UK diet! Of course this is great news for micro producers like me overall, albeit tempered by the supermarket big boys getting in on the act with their own mass produced cheaper options. Meanwhile, following urges from 2 scary ladies (thanks for the push, I needed this!), I shall be endeavouring to launch my own very hot Curry at my next event which is at Kelling Heath on 27th July (chilled, to take away). With luck I hope to bring both chicken and veggie options but only a few to start with while I test the water, to avoid waste if they dont sell. Liberally stuffed with my favourite fresh Scotch Bonnets and as hot or hotter than most Vindaloos, I have decided to call it Glyndaloo. Fingers crossed that it works! (PS: if a raging storm is forecast for the 27th I will plan it for the week after on 3rd instead)
