Ok folks from the 1970s (especially from Dyer and Lake Counties) When I was a teenager Momma bought me a pair of clogs from. Schlesingers (sp?) These were not ordinary clogs, they were bright yellow and made out of some sort of plastic. I threw a fit and had to have them. Mr. Schlesinger told Momma that if I didnt wear them we could decoupage something on them and use them for book ends! They looked almost like football helmets! They were huge. Ive tried to find a picture of them online but dont remember what they were called? Can anyone help me?
