Ok folks, heres my soap box rant for today. Yall ever realize how you rarely see a kid with a cast on his/her arm, leg , finger.... ? When I was in school , at least three or four times a year someone would show up at school with a cast. They did it doing things like riding bikes, playing football in the yard, but being outside. Kids dont do that anymore. Theyve never felt the coolness of the ground on their bare feet. Never caught crawfish in a creek. Its sad. I saw a kid just now riding her bike, shes probly 5-6 yrs old. She looked like she was going into combat!! Knee pads, elbow pads, helmet, goggles! Why dont they go ahead and put a parachute and a life jacket on her too! SMH I wonder just how many 10 year old boys know how to tie a fish hook on?
