Ok folks this is the deal...I shoot from the hip so to speak so I am just going to say it: I have been doing this rescue thing now for four years. I can show you countless pictures of horses starved, beaten and abused that we have taken in. MOST of the worst cases came from Horse Auctions. People dump them so they can avoid getting in trouble. Then there are the slaughter horses. The young, beautiful, often trained horses that go off to die in squalor, pain and horror. Last there are the Mexican Rodeo horses, seeing this happening more and more. Kill buyers have gotten into the game and are now selling horses to the Mexican Rodeo people. I believe slaughter is a fate better than being in a Mexican Rodeo. I spend approx. 900.00 a month on rescue horses for grain, hay, farrier, vet. I work three jobs. I am not one to beg. I am not one to try and guilt you all. We all have bills and only you know what you can or cant afford. And if you cant afford to donate, that is ok. SO, here is the fund. I am not putting up any of my own money this time. I give 900 dollars a month as it is. So if you all want me to save them, donate. Simple. If we dont get any money that is ok, we just wont go. Simple as that. I love you all and therefore tell you the truth plain and simple. No sad stories, no sad pics. You all have seen and heard it before. Its simple we save what we can, and if there is no money this time, then the kill buyers win this round. We all can only do so much...so if you want to and can donate. Thanks!
