Ok folks, this is your friendly neighbourhood promoter request to understand that it is now less than 10 hours to a major event and other than promotional posts and updates, this guy is going DARK. Unless you are a performer, vendor, one of our staff or crew in some way, do NOT expect me to return phone calls, texts or posts unless they are legitimately urgent. Moreover, please for the love of God do NOT be that person who tries to contact me in the final hours before the show looking for tickets or a hookup of some kind. Out of everyone you know, I guarantee you I am the busiest right now and for the next 36 hours as well. I will be driving trucks, loading vintage furniture, hanging lights, climbing ladders, juggling multiple calls, co-ordinating a couple of dozen crew and performers, dealing with the inevitable behind the scenes production crises and generally losing my mind. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE IT, but when an event and the tickets for it have been out there as long as they have, and with all the information and details about it readily available in tons of easy to find places, texting or emailing ME of all people will not only not get you an answer, itll get you on my blacklist! Ill happily have a drink and a chat with you at the event but for Gods Sake dont even think about trying to get ahold of me from now until then, cuz it is GO TIME!
