Ok for all those that requested my recipe for the Chocolate Chewy Butter cookies here ya go... This is a Paula Deen recipe, so I cant take credit for it.. I call it Semi-homemade cause I use a cake mix for the base of it.. Chocolate Chewy Butter Cookies: -1 (8oz) brick of cream cheese -1 stick of REAL BUTTER-NOTHING but the real stuff -1 egg -1 teaspoon vanilla -1 box of Devils Food cake mix -Powdered sugar to coat them Pre heat oven to 350 degrees Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl, and mix WELL till its completely mixed and fluffy.. Add the cake mix and mix well Spoon the dough into balls and roll in the powdered sugar Place on PARCHMENT PAPER lined baking sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes.. *My advice is to double the recipe cause it doesnt make too many.. If you saw the photos I posted that was a double recipe minus about 8 cookies.. *The dough is VERY thick, so unless you have a heavy duty mixer, you will have to do it by hand.. I used a hand mixer once & it BROKE the motor.. Lisa Bickford
