Ok friends, Im sorry it took me so long to give an update. The court results August 26 were disappointing, mixed you could say, but there were some positives and thats what were grateful for. In a nutshell, after hearing 7 hous of testimony from doctors, psychologists etc. all describing the biological mother as a danger to the child, unstable and a sociopath, the judge nonetheless refused to switch custody, condemning Joels child to remain in a psychologically unstable and glaringly immoral household. The judge did order the mother to have a psychological evaluation based on the shocking expert testimony on her horrible and litigious behavior. She also changed the schedule and many other details that we requested. We are now simply trying to accept that and move on. How many years should we all devote to trying to get this child back? At what point is it no longer helpful? We just pray that God somehow protects this child from becoming what she sees every day (ex. pregnant in highschool, a lawbreaker, and mentally destructive to innocent people.) If Belles life goes that way, her blood be on the hands of Judge Jeannine Turgeon. That said, accepance of watching a child in the hands of a decalred mentally and emotionall abusive household is the hardest part. But the order did contain some protective measures for ourselves that we insisted on. Hopefully we can at least try to move on with semi-normal lives now. Im just sorry we cant do that with Belle by our sides.
