Ok friends and neighbors tomorrow is the first day to sign up to run for office in New Ipswich or for the Mascenic School Board. There are many positions up for election: Selectman Town Clerk Tax Collector Board of Assessors Fire Chief Trustee of Trust Funds Planning Board Cemetery Trustee Supervisor of the Checklist Budget Committee I offered to serve as selectman for this past year only because no one else stepped up. I have no desire to continue in that role. So if someone else would like a shot at serving, please go for it.
