Room in SW Berkeley House with Big Garden – January 1 - $934 + Utilities We are two women in our mid-30s looking for a roommate to share our beautiful 3 bedroom house on Harmon St., right around the corner from Actual cafe. The house, a bright and sunny 3 BR, 1 BA place with a recently remodeled kitchen and shiny hardwood floors, has a huge backyard full of berries and raised beds ready to rock many rounds of beautiful veggies. Ideally we would LOVE to find someone who shares an interest in gardening and is interested in participating in a household based on our shared values of conscious living and healthy communication. Our household is a warm, open space that holds a family vibe while at the same time honors our respective needs for personal space and independence. We are looking for someone who is laid back, neat, and who can navigate this spectrum in a healthy and conscious way. Also, it’s best if you don’t have TONS of house stuff… we are pretty much furnished and have a stocked kitchen. There is a LOT of storage space in the garage and basement however. Move-in is January 1, rent is about $934 + utilities for a medium-sized bedroom attached to the one bathroom (of course there is another bathroom door out to the hallway). Short-term could work too… the room can be furnished if you want it to be. And it’s painted a lovely periwinkle color. Who we are: Tali is a Canadian permaculturist who now finds herself on the acupuncture and oriental medicine track. Music maker, cook, medicine maker, lover of life... Julie is on a sabbatical after a career managing a nature-based nonprofit and will be moving into the field of coaching and consulting.
