Ok friends...here we go. We have 13 great candidates for our Greatest Male Country Artist Ever contest. Let me say just a few things. I did not include Elvis....I know he recorded country..but..when I think of Elvis...I do not think strictly..KING OF COUNTRY. I did not include many artist that are popular now and have been for a few years..there are a lot of good ones..but..in my opinion..to compare them with the likes of Hank Sr..Cash..Strait..ect...they have not earned those dues as of yet..I do wish them all luck in their careers and many CMA awards and Grammys! I may have also forgotten and did not include a few artist that you felt may have been in the contest..if so..Im sorry..I just picked a few artist from each decade that I felt had a huge impact on country music by defining or redefining country music. Their success...longevity...vocals..songwriting...instrumental talents..charisma...ect. I think we have a good line up...I have my predictions..but..well see how it goes..once again..sorry about the mix up with Vince and Alan Jackson...but..they are both still in it to win it.so..well see them again!! Also..we have candidates from different eras in country music...and country music has evolved..so..we will do the best we can in making unbiased comparisons..you get to do the pickin :) SO..LETS BEGIN...:) ~WILLIAM~ WILLIE NELSON VS MERLE HAGGARD!!!
