Ok friends here we go again my local paper his morning states that our republican governor Pence has spent millions on New Tech Center that is suppose to improve State effectiveness? now we all know that Pence has balanced Indiana budget off the backs of the handi-cap programs, education, infrastructure etc. then he turn around and hired more staff and added more security to his state office and now Gov. Pence unveiled a new technology center at the State house on Tuesday that he said will allow Indiana to serve as a model for the future of state government. The concept is popular in the private sector & Indiana will be the first state to adopt this model and in June the state entered into a contract to spend $2.5 million in upfront costs to purchase SAP software to run the technology and will spend $550,000 annually on maintenance. The state also has partnered with KSM consulting LLC in a $1.3 million contract to complete a study on child and infant mortality. Pence said the new technology will give the state greater ability to identify redundancies in spending and study what state programs arent producing results and could be eliminated. Ok as a voter I have many questions first the so called republicans double talk about small government ?? it sure looks like to me Gov. Pence ideal is small government for the working poor and big government for him and his investors of this so called new technology center. And another question is how will this study really help any kid when Gov. Pence and his republican politicians will not spend money on the kids with the working poor or the handi-cap etc. I am beginning to think and please tell me if I am wrong that this is just more rich people investment buddies technology programs have investment for the rich because god know the working poor has no money to invests in anything? What is your ideal thanks! I hate to be such a realists on all these issues!
