Ok friends, so the proper post-show wrap: CANBERRA! Show! Last night! Just handful of seats off a sell out crowd!! Woohoo thanks to everyone who came and everyone who helped spread the word. The show went beautifully, the crowd was warm and fun and so applausey and laughy. I was overjoyed to share my work with the gorgeous dancers I have been spending time with over the last week. The guest act Dan and Max were charming and dazzling and very profesh. The almost impromptu MC Linton was GORGEOUS! At the end Some fabulous audience member threw roses at me. They were possibly the very same roses I threw at the audience at the start of the show but who cares it makes no difference. Wonderful feedback from people at the end of the show. And as always my favourite part of the show was being a skeleton, Though I think the little red riding hood song clicked a step up, was much funnier, and became a new fav. Many people said it was their favourite song. ? Oh and I almost sensed that polar waltz and jellyfish song took us deep into the sea and then whisked us all to the snow, it was magical but I forgot I was in a theatre and I almost forgot how to talk at the end so I forgot to properly/eloquently articulate a few important thankyous. Thanks so much Barbie and Elizabeth for all your support and hard work. I love you both.
