Ok friends whos up for a friendly debate? This morning I saw a post about peoples thoughts on bulking and is it beneficial? I have my own opinion and everyone else has their own. A bikini competitor was tagged in it and said she wouldnt give her opinion cuz there far too little knowledge and too much bro science. What was her opinion? She said you have to gain at least twenty five pounds total, hope to double your strength, and when its all said and done youll end up with about ten pounds of quality muscle. (We are talking natural)...in my opinion she is so far off its painful. Im a firm believer that yes in order to gain muscle your gonna have to take in excess calories and put on some fat. But your caloric intake should only go up by one or maybe a couple hundred calories depending on your size, genetics, and body type. If you gain and twenty or thirty pounds and eat whatever you want then your doing some of it for the pleasure of eating for the sake of eating not growth. What do you guys think?
