Ok...gifts exchanged, dinner did, dishes done, and... family-fun pretty much over as were ALL sated and sleepy. Those who no longer live here have left for other destinations with more celebration to ensue, with most of those of us who reside here off to each his/her respective bedrooms. I am still up; although, I dont think Ill be long for this night. Heck...I cant think of going to bed yet...its ONLY 5:15; however...it DOES seem tempting! So much fun-filled activity has been packed into a mere 24 hours or so causing this last day to feel more like SEVERAL running. Its like this each Holiday Season and by its end, well...Im at my end, as well...PHEW! Once again, it has been a MOST successful day with everyone having had a lovely time. In addition, the days weather was SUPERB. I have had the living-room window open all day long; this, perhaps, one of my FAVORITE gifts. After today, things will go back to a more normal routine around here...and all over the planet, for those of us who celebrate X-Mas. I always feel a bit melancholy after the BIG Day comes and goes; although, we are STILL in the midst of the Holiday Season with the New Year just around the corner. So, as this wonderful day comes to its close I am feeling gratified, satisfied, and thankful to the MAX as I hold tight to the warm feelings that have been conjured-up by another special Christmas celebration; and, as ALWAYS...I intend to carry these lovely sensations in my heart all the year long through til NEXT Christmas Day! Just Sayin...
