Ok guys... Here is how next weekends race meeting on the 17th at Bacchus marsh will go.. 8am gates open. 8:30 - 10:00am scrutineering 10:15 - 10:30 drivers briefing 10:30 - 10:45 Live grid draws 11:00am Heat 1 on the dummy grid... There will be no practice for this event... Once all drivers have picked a letter out of the hat, that will determine there starting position for Heat 1, for Heat 2 it will be a reverse grid draw from Heat 1... And for Heat 3 each driver will pick a Number out of a hat to determine there final starting positions for that heat... All points tallied up after Heat 3 will give you your starting order for the feature... We will also be having what is called a Black Flag Race... Thanks to the Mildura club for this idea, its a fun way to close out a race meeting... However, for this race meeting, it is only for the senior drivers, juniors will have an opportunity at the next race meeting... Its a combined class for all seniors, from standards to outlaws... The lowest points scorer for the day including finals points, will start from poll position, second lowest will start from P2, and so forth until we have the Highest point scorer starting from the rear... Once the race gets underway, there will be 1 complete lap raced, after that completed lap, anyone at the back of the field will receive the Black Flag, in turn they will pull infield on the back straight and stop in the return lane, Each lap the black flag will be presented to the person at the rear... I think you get where this is going... One last rule: if you spin and cause a yellow, you are OUT! (You do not have to enter this race, it is totally up to the individual, ladies class competitors can also enter) We will also have a BBQ sausage sizzle and drinks, so please support the club, and get behind this event for a great days racing... Anyone not doing much on this Sunday, there is still plenty of jobs that need taken care of and any help would be greatly appreciated... Nominations close at 6pm Tuesday the 12th...
