Ok guys. I am singing praises to God. Good news . Dr said as of now Caleb no longer needs infusions. He said he believes that Caleb was bordering common immune deficiency and he believes his problem was not that. Blood test show he jas a bad allergy to bahia grass and dust mites which is causing him to be sick all the time. And he has asthma which is compounding the problem. Started on a couple new meds and told us to discuss with his pediatrician about removing the port. He says he cant guarantee that as he gets older he wont have a problem but he doesnt believe he will. He is going to make arrangements with Arnold Palmer hospital to do the port flushes until wr decide we are comfortable with having it removed. He told us to follow up with an allergy Dr because he cant see him. Rachel and I are discussing changing his insurance if we can find one that nemours and his pediatrician both accept. Caleb and I believe this is the miracle he has been praying for. Thank you God.
