Ok guys Id like to get some feed back and possibly a solution for my problem. My 85 atc 250r kills plugs.I mean kills them I can clean them and will get one rev out of them thats it. I run b8es ngk. Which is one level hotter than factory. I bought this bike in 1995. And it killed them the same way back then. I have rebuilt the top end, replaced the reeds , installed a K&N filter, ran a fmf pipe and now running a Paul Turner. I have played with the jetting rich and now back to factory jetting. No different results . Funny thing is that it dosent kill them the winter, which makes us think jetting. During the summer It will kill 2 or 3 plugs in a day of riding . I can ride all winter on one plug. Im now gonna replace the crank seal, the stator and possibly the wiring harness.
