Ok guys another Captain has been Appointed! WICB Seems to be making a joke of this! Ive lost count on how many Captain and Coach has been appointed since that famous Series loss to Australia in 1995. A Talented Youngster but Im not sure he is ready for the job that lies ahead... I hope and pray that he is ready for the challenge, he gets all the Support of His Players and Fans, and this new Position wont be to the detriment of his Career as is the Trend for Players becoming West Indies Captain of late! WI Captaincy in any format, is a difficult job for the mere fact that Fans has been waiting for this Miracle Savior since 1995 but if you are around WI Cricket long enough you would know things dont work like that.. Lara has been our Greatest Player since then and he failed miserably to make any significant inroads towards a WI resurgence.. We could make reference of Smith, Willimson, Kohli and of Late Steve Smith of Australia as Young Players who was appointed Captains of their respective Countries and succeeded with little or no Captaincy Experience and draw some inspiration from them but WI Cricket Structure is a far cry from that of SA, AUS and IND... All the same Jason Holder and My Westiandian Boys have my full Support and I Wish him and My Team all the best in these 2 very difficult assignments that Immediately lies ahead of Us! SA ODI Series and The World Cup.... We #RallyHard in all Circumstances!!! I just want to address the to be Critics that lurks behind the Scenes and Wait for Failure to Criticize... Dont expect no miracles from the Young Man, hes inexperienced as Captain, he will be learning on the Job, Give him some time and lets hope he develops ingo the player that he promised to be and goes from Strength to Strength in his new Role... He will need all the support he can get right now and if he does well it would be to the benefit of all of us lets #RallyHard with him and the Team and see where it takes up #RallyHardCrew
