Ok guys, heres the deal on the paddle boarding. The people that operate at Edgewater Beach are almost twice as much as the Wendy Park/Whiskey Island people. And Id prefer being at Wendy Park anyway for the grub afterward lol. Its $40 for a first timer lesson and then go on your own for the rest of the time- 90 min total time. After the initial lesson its $20 an hour if you just wanted to go rent a board any time. I think thats pretty fair. Edgewater people want $69 for lesson and $35 per hour after. They usually do about 8 people per lesson - so if we can get enough interest including friends or spouses that might not even be IN free ride, we can get our own class together. She said if I get a group, she might even knock some money off. Were gonna have to plan ahead a bit, so lets see who all is interested. I think Chris and Matt Vogelpohl were interested, plus me plus I have a friend that has wanted to try it too. Thats 4 already. So ask around or lemme know who wants to give it a try and THEN we start asking when there are classes available for a weekend soon.
