Ok guys looking for some thoughts here. Ive been doing residential start ups/trim outs for five years. Now I have an opportunity to move into residential service. My dilemma is that in my current position my company uses me for everything: start up, retros, maintenance (resi and commercial), service, new construction, and duct cleaning. My thought is that when I move into service I will only be used for service, which means when service is slow there just wont be the same hours. Doesnt matter if youre making $50 an hour if there are no hours.......
