Ok guys part two as to my lower than expected oil pressure quest on my 428LSX. I isolated it to the oil cooler. I simply put a block off plate with an 1/8 NPT port for the turbo feed in place of where the oil cooler block bolts on to the pan. Bam 62psi on cold start, idles with 35 hot. Makes 80 psi by 4500 hot. With the oil cooler hooked up itll idle at 24 hot and makes barely 56 psi no matter how high you rev it. My question is, what in the hell could make my oil pressure go down in the oil cooler circuit that much? Blockage in that portion of the radiator? Or is that supposed to happen? Thanks.
