Ok..have no heat in my car since Halloween thought it was the thermostat took it to belle tire to fix (they said the could).. Unfortunately they said my heater core was clogged and they couldnt do it. Found a place that could do it for $92.00. I was happy and grateful. Until the next day still no heat he said he would put a cleaner in it and do a reverse flush for $184.00. Said ok. Need heat well got car back still NO heat. He said he could put a thermostat in for $300.00. I thought forget it... Called dealer and they would do it for $190.00. Took today off had car there before 9am..they called at 4 just started looking at it said with all the debris in over flow I need a new heater core! $800.00.. He cannot put a thermostat in because he ran out. Was gonna go to vandyke store but due to weather would not make it...needless to say getting car back with no heat:-(. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone a good mechanic????
