Ok, here I go with my annual PSA about tomato horn worms. Please dont kill them! They grow up to be a Hummingbird Moth, aka a sphinx moth or a hawk moth. They are actually easily trained and if you pick them up and place them on the TOP of a dedicated tomato plant they will stay there. It usually requires moving them twice but they eventually get the message! Tomato horn worms are VERY important because they grow up to become pollinators and these moths can live upwards of six or seven years. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manduca_quinquemaculata
