Ok, here comes another one of my redos...This was a Kenny cabinet that was pretty rotten on the bottom, and mildewed as well. My husband thought it was trash. Uh, no. I washed it down with a mild bleach/water bath, then picked out all the rotten wood at the bottom. I then refilled/packed the holes with wood putty. Let it dry, then sanded, then stained. THEN, I decided I wanted my 201 to fit into it. So, I cut a new front piece to fit the Singer, and did a very minor cut for one of the hinges. I can still put back in the front lift piece, if I ever want to put a Kenny back in it. No harm, no foul. :) My 201 now sits pretty in this cabinet, and you cant tell it was ever damaged.
