Ok here comes my rant!!! I am beyond pissed. I take Court to the license branch to get her drivers permit. She is 16 and 6 months, no she did not have drivers ed, at that that I opted for her not to. She was battling with her epilepsy and had to be six month seizure free and would not be able to do the drives. Any hoot we go today after the hectic day we both had. Upon getting there we are greeted with the usual pleasant hellos, smile, please be seated we cant wait to help you.... You all know how wonderful it is there. Once we go up there we discover a birth certificate and social security card is not enough to get just a learners permit we must provide 4 proofs of identification..... 4 .... FOUR are you kidding me? I asked will her insurance card work, no replied the lady, her school ID, no she replied ... Cant figure that out. Needs to be two pieces of mail in her name. I raise my voice and politely say I dont make her pay any of my bills they are all Im my name. She said what about when they mail report cards? Im not sure what Stone Age shes from cause god knows when they last mailed those? But then claims we are not that picky I said not that picky u have turned down everything Ive asked, what about immunizations with her name and date of birth? Of course she said no, but said we could use your taxes with her social security number, Im like u already have her social security number but ok can I pull it up on my phone,,, well no again by then the Dave Martin was coming out in me but I instead politely told her how crazy this was but she said if anyone even a friend had mailed her a letter to her address they would accept that, really? That must be how all the illegal immigrants prove their place of residence because that is BS if you ask me! I cant believe the government again it goes back to all if the illegal immigrants that come here and get things without a birth certificate a social security card let alone 2 more identifications! It was such a good thing my dad wasnt with me, I have one unhappy teenager on my hands tonight and I dont blame her, Im sorry Courtney Alexander I I
