Ok here goes nothing.... This is the original device with errors so you can see what i was thinking (pic 1) then i tried to do a correction once it was pointed out the black tree on red will not fly (duh i missed that) Ive tried to make it a white trees on red but can only get it greyish. and the 3rd pic is an alt tree (presuming the tree is able to be kept at all) . The reason I chose these is that the tree is supposed to represent Yggdrasil and I was trying for a white oak with no leaves, the double headed eagle with swords is a personal note of the trails my husband and I have fought together in life for almost 10 years (medical and family not legal) The eagle is meant to symbolize us united and strong. White the Chief section .. to me... is a representation of that which guides and protects us in life whatever its form. If I understood the field lay out and colors properly its should mean in service to the kingdom/ barony to which my greatest memories are in the SCA and Id like to return the favor in service. I hope that helps you to understand the meaning of what and why I chose these.
