Ok here goes nothing ... jesus I understand the culture we come from, and I really do respect the differences that make us unique or separate us from other cultures or countries. I do have to say though, reading this article makes me feel like Ive got alzhimers (is this article from the 90s?). To keep this short and simple, activism isnt necessary a bad thing. Is it? Activism in the 20s gave women their rights in the US, that kind of power of the masses makes a difference doesnt it? Activism is sometimes necessary to awaken challenges or issues that have gone to rest and need to be revisited. I am by NO means an activist (still dont know why I was referred to as one on some social media outlets), and I dont intend on being one for my own obvious reasons (a. I wont fight the battles of others especially when they claim they dont want it themselves -talking to you Saudi ladies, b. dont care enough for the negative or positive attention it would bring me or my family, c. my balls have shriveled since Ive been back and need to focus on myself, d. I dont like stress or drama LOL, e. I dont want to be labeled a terrorist or feminist or atheist or asshole, and f. Im not sure whats right or wrong anymore because there are always so many missing pieces of the puzzle and were all talk talk talk and media media media.. how do I know how true certain facts are from others?) #RantOver Any thoughts on this particular case virtual friends?
