Ok..here it goes..I still have 2 more days at Mayo in few weeks to go over things but as of now they are keeping Post Concussion Syndrome as main diagnosis. Bad news is that they dont think I will ever fully recover. They are guessing I will still show some improvement over next 2 years but I will always have some of the symptoms. I am also out of chances so being careful is no longer an option. They stated if slippery, I do not go outside, no bike trails in case of gravel, night lights so I dont trip and apparently even flip flops are now even too dangerous. Good news is they are going to try some additional medications to ease the symptoms and said I might even may able to workout on them!!!!!! They are also going to try a brain rehab program to see if that helps. My doctor today was wonderful and really understood. He assured me we will try everything to get me back to myself (as long as Im safe about it). May not be the answer I wanted but at least there is still hope I can still do the things I love.
