Ok, heres an idea Ive been thinking about. I dont actually have the capacity to do this right now, so if it speaks to you, lets talk because I would love to see it happen anyway. The idea would be for a community web series reality TV show called Stone Soup modeled after Iron Chef. In each episode, 2 teams would go head to head to make as much of the best soup they possibly can using only salvaged, grown, donated or otherwise free vegan ingredients they can find in an allotted time period. This soup is then loaded into special modified tricycles, which are pedaled around the city and sold/given away on a sliding scale ($0-$5 suggested, no one turned away). Participants/customers taste the two soups, then pick their favorite to take as their meal, and an amount they would like to pay for it. All of this is filmed, and compiled into an episode. The winners of each episode get invited back to play-offs, on and on to a season championship finale of who can cook the most, best free food. The money raised from soup sales goes to buy new trikes and equipment, and to pay people to pedal them around, creating jobs, access to free, healthy food, and salvaging unused/wasted/donated food in a way that is engaging and fun.
