Ok hes is a replay of yesterday... Get up early to get things ready, dogs look like they rolled in mud! Get a text from my friend that is baby sitting for me, since I cant leave the dogs with no one here, she is having car trouble so we have to pick her up.. John leaves to go get her and me with no dl drives the truck and trailer with all the dogs to the clinic the whole time praying that I didnt get stopped . All the dogs there had made a mess but no biggie.. finally every one is there and ready to go. We get there and have no canopy and we had to set up right in the sun so we got all the dogs of the trailer and a man walks up wanting one ok stop and adopt out a Bella then back to work ! We had a great day with great people that came just to see and help us! We got to meet people we talk to daily but have never met! I love our fb family! Packed up and headed home and of course a cop had to pull us over! Well he didnt want a dog but he let us go said the trailer light wasnt working but it was when I looked at it.... guess he was wondering what kind of crazy people we were... Last part of our day, got back to the clinic to an emergency! A lab had chased his ball thru a barbedwire fence! ! He was bleeding from his pee pee pocket! We got him knocked out for a closer look... There was a deep cut all the way across the neck of his penis right behind the head..it didnt go thru to the urethra so we could fix it... What does that mean? That means that I get to assist in surgery! So I got to stand there for 30 min holding a big labs personal part while doc fought with trying to get the bleeding to stop and stitches to bury under the skin so they wouldnt be irritating! Best part of our day? Getting to assist in saving 3 pups from going to the shelter! All in all a great day!
